These Terms & Conditions apply to tours, transfers, tailor-made journeys and other travel services arranged by Maini Private Tours Bolivia. By confirming a booking with us, the traveler acknowledges and accepts the conditions described below, together with any specific conditions included in their quotation or booking confirmation.
Bookings and confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once Maini Private Tours Bolivia has received the required deposit or payment indicated in the quotation and has confirmed the reservation in writing. All services are subject to availability until the booking is confirmed.
Payments
Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, a 30% deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid according to the deadline indicated in the booking confirmation, generally before the beginning of the services. Payment processing fees or charges from banks, cards or third-party payment providers may apply and will be communicated when applicable.
Prices
Prices are quoted in the currency specified in each proposal, normally US dollars (USD), and are based on the services, number of travelers and conditions described in the quotation. Prices may change if the traveler requests modifications, the number of participants changes or external suppliers significantly modify their rates before confirmation.
Cancellations by the traveler
Cancellation requests must be communicated to Maini Private Tours Bolivia in writing. Refunds, when applicable, will depend on the cancellation conditions of the confirmed services and any costs already incurred with hotels, transportation providers, guides, tickets, activities or other suppliers. Certain deposits, tickets or prepaid services may be partially or completely non-refundable.
Changes requested by the traveler
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes requested after confirmation. Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional costs. Any price difference or additional supplier charges will be communicated before the modification is confirmed whenever possible.
Operational changes and force majeure
Travel in Bolivia may occasionally be affected by weather, road conditions, social demonstrations, strikes, transportation disruptions, natural events, government measures or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. When necessary for safety or operational reasons, Maini Private Tours Bolivia may modify the itinerary, schedule, transportation, accommodation or sequence of services while making reasonable efforts to preserve the overall travel experience.
Third-party suppliers
Maini Private Tours Bolivia works with independent hotels, transportation providers, guides, restaurants, activity operators and other tourism suppliers. We carefully select and coordinate these services; however, each supplier remains responsible for the services under its direct control.
Traveler responsibilities
Travelers are responsible for providing accurate personal and travel information, arriving at agreed meeting points at the indicated times and following reasonable safety instructions provided by guides, drivers and local operators. Travelers should inform us in advance of any relevant dietary requirements, mobility considerations or other needs that could affect the organization of the journey.
Passports, visas and travel requirements
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they possess valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination certificates or other documentation required for their journey and border crossings. Maini Private Tours Bolivia may provide general information when possible, but entry and immigration requirements remain the responsibility of the traveler.
Health and travel insurance
Some destinations in Bolivia involve high altitude, remote areas, changing weather conditions or limited access to medical facilities. Travelers should consider their personal health and physical condition before participating in activities. We strongly recommend appropriate travel insurance covering medical assistance, trip interruption, cancellation and other relevant travel risks.
Personal belongings
Travelers remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout the journey. Maini Private Tours Bolivia cannot guarantee recovery or compensation for items that are lost, forgotten, damaged or stolen unless responsibility is established under applicable law.
Specific booking conditions
A quotation or booking confirmation may contain conditions specific to a particular itinerary, hotel, ticket, activity or supplier. Where specific conditions have been clearly communicated and differ from these general terms, the conditions provided for that particular booking will apply.
Acceptance of these terms
By making the required payment and confirming a reservation, the traveler acknowledges that they have reviewed and accepted these Terms & Conditions as well as the itinerary, inclusions, exclusions and payment conditions provided for their booking.
